Hi, I'm Samantha Porter.
If you’re seeking support for yourself, a child, youth, or for your family unit, you’re in the right place. Using evidence-based and result driven therapeutic practices, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, circumstances, and developmental stage. I recognize that not all methods work for everyone, so I draw from a variety of approaches to ensure our work together is both effective, meaningful, and relatable.
My approach to therapy reflects this perspective, embracing the natural shifts in life and learning to navigate the waves rather than resist them. Growing up surrounded by the ocean, I’ve always found a sense of calm and grounding in its rhythms. I see mental health in a similar way—sometimes calm and steady, other times unpredictable and stormy. Like the tides, our emotions and experiences ebb and flow, but beneath it all is a core of strength and resilience.
